Amazon's own redemption traps
Here is where this brand differs from every other gift card on Bitrefill. The code can be perfectly valid, the storefront can be correct, and Amazon can still refuse it — because Amazon imposes conditions on the receiving account that no other brand does.
A second payment method is usually required. Amazon commonly wants a card or bank instrument on file before it will apply gift card balance to an account. This catches out people who created an Amazon account specifically to receive a crypto-funded gift card, which is a fairly common intention and the exact scenario Amazon is designed to resist.
A verified address in the card's country is usually required. Again a friction point for new or dormant accounts, and an obvious one once you see it: Amazon is checking that this is a real customer in the right market.
First redemptions can trigger additional checks. Amazon may ask for the purchase receipt and the gift card details. For a Bitrefill purchase, that means your order confirmation — which is a good reason to keep the order reference rather than deleting the email once the code is out.
The account-lock risk, stated plainly
Amazon has a documented reputation for locking accounts over gift card activity, and the consequences are far worse than losing the card. A locked Amazon account can mean losing existing balance, order history, Prime membership and in some cases access to Kindle or digital purchases.
